Summer!

We have been keeping busy this summer! I can't believe that it is July and I am just getting around to posting photos.  What can I say? I just don't have the time to blog:(  

The Monday after school let out, Weston started swimming lessons. I asked Weston what he wanted to during the summer, and swimming was on his list of things to do.  I signed him up for the first level of swimming, because I wasn't sure how much he remembered from last year.  He hasn't been in the water since last year, so I wasn't sure if he could still swim.   After a couple of  days, I realized I made a mistake.  When I saw him swimming around the kids while the instructor was busy helping another child, I knew he was bored.  Not only was he practicing his swimming skills on his own, he was trying to get the other kids to do it with him. They were supposed to stay on the wall until it was their turn, but he decided to lead his own activities.  Oh well!  He still had a great time so it was worth it!

Weston and Wyatt  also wanted to check out books from the library for the summer reading program this summer.  After just a couple of trips to the library, the boys have already completed the program (to be posted later).  If you could see the pile of books Weston manages to drag out of the library in one trip, you would understand why!  He tries to leave the library with as many books as MY arms can carry. I am usually cussing under my breath on the way to the car!!
