Beach Trip

 We went on a beach trip at the end of June! Nana, Papa, Nolan, and Brandon came with us this time.  Tammy and Ray couldn't get off work, so they had to stay home.  We booked through Priceline, which means you can't be too picky about the dates.  It is difficult to plan a time when everyone could take off of work. Oh well!
We were supposed to have perfect weather while we were at the beach, but the weather took a turn for the worst.  A tropical storm in the ocean robbed us of our sunshine the entire trip. It ended up being overcast and cool the first day, and then it rained the entire second day.  The sun came out as soon as it was time to leave!  We still had a nice time even with the cooler weather.  The boys swam in the pool during the rain,  even though I know they were cold!!

Our accident prone Wyatt went home with cuts and bruises all over his body.   Can you see the cuts on his knees and mouth.? We almost had to take him to the hospital for the cut on his lip.

We held a treasure hunt for the boys during the bad weather. Brandon is reading one of the clues.

After we left our hotel, we went fishing on our way home.  The windy weather did not allow for us to fish in the ocean this time.  We were so disappointed we didn't catch a shark!

 

 Someone told us to try a different spot, so we moved to a different location. No luck at either place:(

 

We even tried crabbing.
