Keri invited Weston and me to go swimming at her neighborhood pool today. They have a really nice baby pool and an adult pool. Caroline was just as sweet to Weston as she was last week. First, we swam in the baby pool and Caroline gave Weston ALL of her pool toys. Weston really wanted to swim in the adult pool so he could jump off the steps. Caroline didn't want to get in the big pool so she patiently waited for us to swim. She just sat on the edge of the steps and did a few dances. After a while, she wanted Weston to chase her and he did! When she ran off, he would call for her by shouting "Care-leen!" He even said, "Golly!" when she kept running off. During the chase, Weston fell down and started crying. Caroline hugged and kissed Weston and asked if he was o.k.
We also ate a snack at the pool- that is when things got really cute between the two of them. When Weston had his mouth open, she would pop a goldfish cracker into his mouth. She made sure he had something to drink by giving him her sippy cup and her bottle of water. She also started running her fingers through his hair! So funny! Then she pulled out everything from Keri's bag and gave it to Weston. She knows how to treat a guy! We just hope Caroline doesn't catch Weston's cold! Thanks again for letting us spend the day with you!
