On Friday, Nathan left work a few hours early, so we decided to take the kids on a picnic at the swamp. It was a beautiful day!! We stopped by Subway and bought meatball subs for dinner. The swamp has plenty of picnic tables, but Weston wanted to each his dinner on the "picnic carpet." So, we brought a blanket and ate our subs next to the silos. It could have been really quiet, but there were a ton of planes flying over us because of the Masters Golf Tournament. We had a fun watching all of the planes, but it was quite noisy!! After we ate, we took a nice long walk through the swamp.
We missed an alligator by a few seconds. A couple that was walking in front of us saw an alligator swimming, but it went under water before we could see it.
