An evening in the country

One of Nathan's coworkers, Bill, invited us to his Grandfather's property in Sylvania this weekend. No one lives on this 200+ acres of land; Bill uses it mostly for hunting. About a month ago, Bill and Nathan went deer hunting here. Nathan had the best time and I can see why. It was so relaxing being in the country.

When we arrived in Sylvania, Bill took us on a hay ride with his tractor. As soon as Weston saw Bill start the tractor, he called him "Farmer Bill" the rest of the evening. Later, the guys started a fire and we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows.

Bill, we think you did a great job of being host (especially for someone whose wife was at work most of the evening). Thank you for inviting us!

Here are some photos of our evening in the country.
Someone gave Weston a small purple flashlight. This made him brave enough to wonder off in the dark by himself. He carried that flashlight with him the rest of the night.
Ethan carrying bricks for the fire pit. After knowing Ethan a total of 15 minutes, Weston said, "I love Ethan!"
Eating chips and chocolate. Still hasn't put down the flashlight...
