A Trip to Hilton Head Island

I don't think there is anything sweeter than watching a toddler experience the ocean! We decided to take Weston to the beach over Labor Day weekend. Nathan and I had the best time watching Weston play at the beach. He hated the water so he spent most of his time in the sand. The waves were a little rough so I can't say that I blame him. We had a nice time, but Weston was ready to go home on day two. Nathan and I could have used another week of vacation!

Day One:

This is his reaction to the beach! He was fascinated!

wiggling the sand between his toes

climbing the dunes

He was happy to see the water until a wave came. That was it for him! He didn't get back in the rest of the trip. He said it was too loud!

Day Two:

This is the first time he used swimmies.

Weston fell in love with this statue

That evening, we went to Harbor Town and looked at the boats and ate dinner.Playing with trains at a toy store.

We stopped to pet the horses.

Day Three:
Back to the beach!

We rode our bikes around the island. Weston stuffed his cheeks with pretzels.

A year ago we took him to Myrtle Beach. Here are some photos of his first beach trip.

You got great pictures. Looks like you all had a lot of fun. I especially love the "wind blown" look:)
